A film and television browser built on The Movie DB API.
It covers the parts a catalogue app genuinely needs and usually skips: a hero slideshow of what is currently popular, four browse modes each for film and TV, keyword search across both, and detail pages that pull trailers, cast and similar titles from separate endpoints and stitch them into one view.
Paging uses TMDB's own cursor rather than a client-side slice, so "load more" fetches a real next page instead of revealing rows that were already downloaded and hidden. That distinction is invisible in a demo with forty results and decisive with forty thousand.
React 18 on Create React App with React Router v6, axios for the API layer, Swiper for the carousel and Sass for styling.
Built in 2022, and the project where coordinating several endpoints to render a single screen stopped feeling intimidating.
